Description: eLearning is often subject to greater scrutiny than other learning initiatives. The reasons are that Learning is often a departure from the classroom training and it involves new sunk costs. This means that it is even more important to have a sound approach to evaluation for eLearning than it is for other training. Our experience in discussing evaluation with many trainers and educators is that they often focus on two types of evaluation: very simple evaluations of participation and very complicated analyses of financial returns (e.g. ROI). They often ignore a range of other metrics that would more legitimately and convincingly make the case for their initiative. This is the "missing middle" of evaluation, which needs to be filled. Presenters: Rick Nigol, Co-Founder and Director of Education, eLearn Campus, and Michael Grant, Co-Founder and Director of Research, eLearn Campus At this 40-minutes Webinar you will: Learn what makes for an effective eLearning evaluation system Find out how a balanced scorecard approach may help you Discover a range of evaluation methodologies Learn how to leverage the most out of the data management aspects of learning management systems Participate in a live Q&A session with Rick and Michael .
